I first met Ti when we were in Grade 10 Marine Biology Honours -we didn't really care about all those stupid invertebrates - Echinodermata and Annelida and all those other phylums. We bonded over our love of thrift-store shopping and 80s off-the-shoulder sweaters (which we would cut ourselves....man we were cool) and art class and commiserated about our small (but growing...) chest sizes.
That was five years ago, and I have seen her work blossom from handmade purses and silkscreened t-shirts to the most exquisite jewelry and accessories. Each piece that she makes is unique, versatile, and stunningly beautiful - but at the same time has a style that is unmistakably Tianna's.
